At Eden Skin & Beauty I pride myself on being extremely thorough. Hygiene standards are also high on my list, so I use all disposables, no double dipping, plus only top quality strip and hot wax is used. Waxing isn’t always fun but I will make it as comfortable and quick as possible.

Waxing Prep

• Do not moisturise the area to be waxed on the day of your appointment
• Advise your therapist if you are using any prescription medication or creams
• When having facial waxing done, please advise your therapist If you are having regular skin treatments, peels or microdermabrasion. If you are using products containing Vitamin A or Retinol stop using 2 days prior to wax
• If exercising just prior to waxing, allow enough time to shower and to allow your body temp time to cool down as the wax will not adhere correctly if the skin is hot and sweaty

Waxing After Care

• For 24-48 hours; Avoid hot showers, steam rooms, saunas and exercise. Avoid swimming pools and spas. Do not sunbathe. 
• Exfoliate regularly to avoid ingrown hairs but do not exfoliate the waxed area until 3-4 days later
• If having skin treatments please advise your therapist of any recent facial waxing
• Do not shave, use depilatory creams or epilady between waxes
• For best results re-book your wax for every 4 weeks
